Assessment
Screening at ComplyAdvantage uses its own data: sanctions from HM Treasury, OFAC and the EU, along with more than 60 further jurisdictions, PEPs across four FATF-aligned classes, and adverse media in 34 categories of financial crime, drawing on more than 11,000 sources across 200+ countries. Mesh, the platform it launched in October 2025, adds scoring of customer risk, transaction monitoring whose rules are written in plain language, and payment screening from May 2026.
In daily work, case management and agentic workflows are the strong side, and ComplyAdvantage says its agents clear about 85% of routine alerts, though we could not verify that figure. Pricing for smaller buyers is published: the Starter plan costs from $99 to $479 monthly for up to 2,000 monitored entities and can be cancelled at any time. Identity is the gap, and the company states that verification of customer identity is not something it offers.

How this rating was made
This profile gives our own assessment of ComplyAdvantage to companies selecting a KYC, AML & identity provider. The Fintech Index receives nothing for featuring a firm, for sponsorship, or for advertising, and ComplyAdvantage gave us no payment for the profile.
The rating equals the average of eight criteria, with every criterion running from 0 to 100. Four address buyer needs in this sector, and four address the company together with its commercial terms.
Ratings are our editorial judgment, made from public information: pricing and legal pages, product documentation, compliance disclosures, and filings. This profile had no lab tests, and no accounts were opened. Fact-checking took place on September 23, 2026.
