Assessment
Soldo combines prepaid Mastercard company cards with wallets, spend rules, receipt capture, and accounting exports. It sits beside a firm's existing business bank account rather than replacing it. Use it when finance wants every employee or team to spend on controlled cards without handing out the main current-account debit card.
Irish parent Soldo Software and Services Limited (CRO 610465) reported turnover of EUR 41,447,962 for the year ended 31 Dec 2024 (Pomanda / Irish accounts aggregators), about US$44-45 million. The UK operating company Soldo Software Ltd filed turnover of GBP 9,060,286 for the same year. Soldo says it serves more than 25,000 organisations in 31 countries. E-money accounts and payment services are provided by Soldo Financial Services Ltd. The group is private.
Soldo fits incorporated companies in supported European markets that need employee cards, team budgets, and expense automation. It does not accept sole traders. It is a weaker fit for a firm that wants a full business current account with deposit-protection banking, or for a US-only spend stack.
Rating by criterion
Each of the eight criteria below is scored out of 100.
Sector criteria
Companies fund Soldo wallets and cards from their bank, then spend on Mastercard rails and make outbound Faster Payments or SEPA transfers within plan limits. Soldo is clear it is not a replacement business bank account. Multi-currency wallets appear on Plus and Unlimited.
Physical and virtual Mastercard prepaid cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, per-user and company cards, subscription cards, and card rules are the core product. Plans start with three cards and scale on Unlimited. This is the strongest part of the offer.
Receipt capture, OCR on higher plans, expense reports, mileage, reimbursements, and exports to Xero, QuickBooks, and others reduce month-end work. Unlimited adds SAP Concur and custom approval workflows. A Forrester TEI study commissioned by Soldo in 2023 is cited for time savings; treat that as vendor-sponsored.
Accounting connectors, Amazon Business, HRIS options, SSO, and 100-plus integrations on Unlimited are published on the pricing comparison. Open-banking account replacement is not the product thesis.
Vendor criteria
Standard, Plus, and Unlimited cover SMB to enterprise spend. Card issuing plus expense software is mature after a decade. Roadmap detail beyond plan features is limited publicly, but the feature grid is unusually complete for buyers.
Incorporated entities only. Standard and Plus include business-hours support; Unlimited adds customer success and professional services. A 30-day trial is offered on Standard and Plus. Chat and email are the day-to-day channels.
Public UK pricing lists Standard at GBP 27 a month plus VAT and Plus at GBP 39 a month plus VAT, with included wallets, users, cards, and transfer caps. Unlimited is sales-quoted. Separate financial-services fees for cards and cash withdrawals are linked from the pricing page.
Accounts can be closed by emailing business support; remaining funds return to the business bank account. Subscriptions are monthly. Extra card and transfer fees follow the published financial-services schedule.

How this review was created
This profile gives our own assessment of Soldo to companies selecting a Business banking & treasury provider. The Fintech Index receives nothing for featuring a firm, for sponsorship, or for advertising, and Soldo gave us no payment for the profile.
The rating equals the average of eight criteria, with every criterion running from 0 to 100. Four address buyer needs in this sector, and four address the company together with its commercial terms.
Ratings are our editorial judgment, made from public information: pricing and legal pages, product documentation, compliance disclosures, and filings. Fact-checking took place on October 5, 2026.
