Product Teams at Financial Companies
He spent his career leading product development teams at financial companies, according to a 2021 profile of Ondato in CIO Look. Working inside a financial institution, he and Kanapienis saw how much effort supervisory rules absorbed, and they built Ondato to make that work lighter. "We decided to create a solution that would help to turn compliance into a business benefit," Kanapienis said of their start.
A Modular Compliance Suite
As product head he oversees tools that customers combine as they need: photo and video identity checks, business verification, facial biometrics, screening and case management. CIO Look described the suite as modular, so each client can fit it to its own checks.
