Assessment
Fraud detection is what Socure is built around. Sigma Identity Fraud models rate an identity for theft signals, Socure Verify reviews consumer data from 400+ sources, and Predictive DocV checks government IDs using selfie liveness. RiskOS, which rests on the Effectiv platform that Socure agreed in 2024 to acquire, links these in a workflow builder without code that has backtesting, shadow mode and management of cases.
Pricing in this category is unusually open. Socure Launch, the self-serve plan, prices an evaluation at $0.80 to $1.30, includes $1,000 in free credits each month and requires no commitment. Enterprise pricing follows usage and offers volume discounts. In August 2026 Socure raised fresh funding at a valuation of $5.2 billion and, during that same period, bought Fravity, a platform for agentic operations. Counts of customers and the figures for country coverage differ by page, so they should be treated as approximate.

How this rating was made
This profile gives our own assessment of Socure to companies selecting a KYC, AML & identity provider. The Fintech Index receives nothing for featuring a firm, for sponsorship, or for advertising, and Socure gave us no payment for the profile.
The rating equals the average of eight criteria, with every criterion running from 0 to 100. Four address buyer needs in this sector, and four address the company together with its commercial terms.
Ratings are our editorial judgment, made from public information: pricing and legal pages, product documentation, compliance disclosures, and filings. This profile had no lab tests, and no accounts were opened. Fact-checking took place on September 23, 2026.
