Best for

Public agencies, marketplaces, fintechs and US banks needing strong detection of identity fraud beside KYC, from a self-serve launch to enterprise volume.

Not ideal for

Firms with customers based mostly outside the US, or teams whose only need is AML screening.

Verdict

Fraud detection is what Socure is built around. Sigma Identity Fraud models rate an identity for theft signals, Socure Verify reviews consumer data from 400+ sources, and Predictive DocV checks government IDs using selfie liveness. RiskOS, which rests on the Effectiv platform that Socure agreed in 2024 to acquire, links these in a workflow builder without code that has backtesting, shadow mode and management of cases.

Pricing in this category is unusually open. Socure Launch, the self-serve plan, prices an evaluation at $0.80 to $1.30, includes $1,000 in free credits each month and requires no commitment. Enterprise pricing follows usage and offers volume discounts. In August 2026 Socure raised fresh funding at a valuation of $5.2 billion and, during that same period, bought Fravity, a platform for agentic operations. Counts of customers and the figures for country coverage differ by page, so they should be treated as approximate.
