Parafin

Vineet Goel

Co-founder

Vineet Goel is a co-founder of Parafin and has served as chief product officer. He helped start the company in 2020 with Sahill Poddar and Ralph Furman after leading risk and fraud engineering at Robinhood, and he is known for building the data and risk systems behind embedded small-business finance.

Education and Robinhood

He earned a BS in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University. At Robinhood he was head of risk and fraud engineering and helped build data infrastructure and risk systems as the brokerage scaled. Carnegie Mellon's Tartans on the Rise programme has featured him among alumni building new companies from that technical base.

Co-founding Parafin

With Poddar and Furman he launched Parafin to give marketplaces and vertical software platforms a way to offer financing without building a full lender stack themselves. His product brief has covered how merchants see capital offers inside tools they already use, while Parafin handles underwriting, capital markets, servicing, and support behind the scenes. The company about page lists launches with large platforms and more than $25 billion in offers extended to small businesses.
