Rael Ross founded Butn and was appointed executive director and chief executive in September 2020. He has more than fifteen years in financial services, technology, and mentoring start-ups, and that he devised Butn to enable instant funding and digital distribution of SME finance.
Tsikot and accounting
He co-founded Tsikot.com, a Philippine automotive platform and forum. In 2016 he and Renato Dayan acquired its assets through Now Web Solutions, He is a qualified accountant who has worked in private practice, the not-for-profit sector, and Big Four firms.
Monash and awards
He completed a Bachelor of Accounting at Monash University on a full scholarship. In 2020 and 2021 he was awarded Australian Young Entrepreneur across multiple categories.
