Path to Alloy
In Stifel’s Builders & Buyers interview she said she left impact investing because she wanted to build a startup. She reached out after hearing Tommy Nicholas pitch a fintech idea around ACH settlement, joined his team, and met Charles Lederer there.
Co-founder working methods
She described early disagreements with Nicholas outside New York’s Flatiron Building that led the founders to write decision frameworks for when consensus was required and when one founder would decide.
Kenya
She moved to Kenya to work in microfinance at Kopo Kopo before returning to San Francisco for impact investing work.
