MeridianLink

Cloud software for lending and account opening, used by credit unions, community banks, consumer reporting agencies and mortgage lenders, and delivered on MeridianLink One. Privately owned since October 2025. Headquartered in Irvine, California.

Established
1998

Assessment

MeridianLink One handles lending for a typical community bank or credit union as separate products: MeridianLink Consumer, which covers small business, personal, auto and HELOC loans plus a decisioning engine that lenders can configure; MeridianLink Mortgage; digital account opening, with workflows built in for CIP, KYC and beneficial ownership; DecisionLender, which covers auto loans that dealers originate; and collections. Its marketplace lists 300+ partners, among them Fiserv, Corelation KeyStone and all three credit bureaus, and Jack Henry resells the platform.

MeridianLink was taken private by Centerbridge Partners on October 24, 2025, priced at $20.00 per share, so figures for revenue and customers are no longer filed. While still public, its final annual report set out per-application fees and minimum monthly revenue commitments, with initial contract terms lasting three years or more; any of this may have changed. AI agents are being added, and general availability for the first is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.

The rating equals the average of eight criteria, with every criterion running from 0 to 100. Four address buyer needs in this sector, and four address the company together with its commercial terms.

Ratings are our editorial judgment, made from public information: pricing and legal pages, product documentation, compliance disclosures, and filings. This profile had no lab tests, and no accounts were opened. Fact-checking took place on September 23, 2026.
