Assessment

Brex is at its best on the spending side. Acceptance for its Mastercard corporate card covers 210+ countries and territories, cards in local currency are offered in 50+ countries, and bill pay, travel and expense software is layered over the card. Its list of integrations is among the longest here, including QuickBooks, Workday and Oracle Fusion.

The business account is sound and does little to stand apart. Checking is held at Column N.A., treasury is quoted from 3.48% to 3.83%, and it sets no minimum deposit, though no date is given for those rates, and a Vault sweep lifts FDIC coverage to $6M. Capital One finished the Brex purchase on April 7, 2026, while some pages on the Brex site still call the company venture-backed, so buyers should check current terms with the company.

How this rating was made

This profile gives our own assessment of Brex to companies selecting a Business banking & treasury provider. The Fintech Index receives nothing for featuring a firm, for sponsorship, or for advertising, and Brex gave us no payment for the profile.

The rating equals the average of eight criteria, with every criterion running from 0 to 100. Four address buyer needs in this sector, and four address the company together with its commercial terms.

Ratings are our editorial judgment, made from public information: pricing and legal pages, product documentation, compliance disclosures, and filings. This profile had no lab tests, and no accounts were opened. Fact-checking took place on September 23, 2026.
