Verdict
nCino serves financial institutions as a complete operating system for lending. Commercial and small business loans use preconfigured workflows, with credit approval checked automatically against policy rules set by the bank and with financial statements spread by machine learning, while US mortgage, consumer lending, and deposit account opening run on that same platform. Integration Gateway, which nCino gained by purchasing Sandbox Banking in 2025, links to cores from Jack Henry, FIS, and Fiserv.
Support for compliance is a strong point: CECL models, fair lending analysis, questionnaires for KYC and KYB, timestamps for every activity, and examiner access to reports. Costs are more difficult to pin down. No price list exists, fees track assets in each business line nCino supports, and enterprise-scale projects can extend past twelve months, although most regional and community banks finish implementation in under six.
