Verdict
Blend focuses on the application experience and on closing. Borrowers apply through white-labeled flows for mortgages, refinances, home equity loans, personal loans, auto loans, credit cards and deposit accounts, with automated verifications, and closing is digital, remote online notarization included. It connects to major loan origination systems, including ICE Mortgage and MeridianLink Mortgage, and also to all three credit bureaus, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
The Autopilot AI agent, commercially offered since July 1, 2026, reviews borrower documents under GSE guidelines or custom guidelines and cites the rule that supports each finding. On March 1, 2026, Blend completed selling its title business, with Covius as the buyer, and the firm is limited to origination software. Fees are levied per completed transaction, not per application; a price list is not published, and the annual report gives three to four months for most deployments, while its website lists four weeks.
