Michael Mueller is founder and executive chairman of Form3. In October 2023 he stepped down as CEO and became executive chair, succeeding co-founder Tom Kozlowski in that board role, while Mike Walters became CEO. The change took effect in October 2023.
Banking career
He began with a Deutsche Bank apprenticeship in Germany. He later held senior roles at Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays, including global head of cash management and a seat on Barclays’ corporate banking executive committee, before co-founding Form3 in 2016 to modernise payment back-office systems.
Chair remit
As executive chair he said he would adjust governance for Form3’s next stage, with significant responsibility for payment processing at scale in key markets. The October 2023 changes also moved Eimear O’Connor from COO to chief product officer.
