Banking and Advisory Work
He began as a mergers and acquisitions banker at ABN AMRO, then co-founded the advisory boutique IvyRoads. In 2015 he joined Safened as chief commercial officer.
Building Fourthline
He co-founded Fourthline in 2017 with Chris van Straeten, a former chief auditor of ABN AMRO in the Netherlands. The company raised €50 million, ~$54M, in 2023 and had raised ~$77M in total by then. It also grew on its own revenue. "At Fourthline, we provide financial institutions with a single, banking-grade solution for continuous, 'lifetime' financial compliance," he said that year.
By the time he handed over to Paul Stoddart, the company said it was profitable and served Revolut, N26, Trade Republic, Qonto, Rabobank and Triodos Bank.
