Verdict
Spend control is Ramp's center. Visa charge cards include receipt matching, preset limits, travel booking, reimbursements, approvals and invoice capture, and Ramp syncs to more than 40 systems in accounting. Even the free plan includes cards, expenses and bill pay, with sync to QuickBooks Online or to Xero, so trying it is inexpensive.
Banking trails the spend product. First Internet Bank of Indiana holds the checking account and pays a variable APY of 2%, yet the 4.54% figure quoted in the headline is a hypothetical yield on a $10M sample portfolio, and the investment account requires a $5,000 minimum position although the pricing page cites no minimum deposits. The Plus platform fee is unpublished, as are add-on prices and the cashback rate.
Score breakdown
How Ramp is scored on criteria buyers in this category care about.
Buyer outcomes
A checking account held at First Internet Bank of Indiana, with instant RTP payments and a variable APY of 2%. FDIC coverage through IntraFi's network is given only as tens of millions of dollars for each depositor.
Visa charge cards that include 30-day payback, no cap on virtual and physical cards, receipt matching, preset controls, travel booking and reimbursements.
The 4.54% figure is hypothetical, a yield to maturity for a $10M sample portfolio dated September 3, 2026, and the investment account requires a $5,000 minimum position carrying an advisory fee up to 0.15%.
Connects to 40+ accounting systems, among them Sage Intacct, Oracle Fusion Cloud, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Workday Financials. QuickBooks Online and Xero are on the free plan.
Company and commercial
Covers expenses, cards, procurement, accounts payable, receivables, travel and banking, including AI features through the suite.
Chat, email, a published phone line and around-the-clock AI help, and on Enterprise priority 24/7 support that includes a dedicated team.
The free plan is published, and so is the Plus fee at $15 per user, but the card cashback rate, add-on prices and the Plus platform fee are not.
Charge cards require no personal guarantee, nor a credit check, and Enterprise is billed each year on custom terms.
